Camelot

Challenge

Camelot reached out to us immediately after their pre-seed round of funding seeking design expertise to bring an app concept to development-ready designs for an MVP. We drove a user-research-informed product strategy to ideate and narrow a feature set from this initial concept. Then, we created and usability tested designs for this feature set.

Features that solve real user problems

User interviews with online habit-builders revealed a few key trends that we obsessively brought to the forefront of our feature-set and designs

Belonging

Challenges become easier and more meaningful when we tap into our tribal wiring and do them alongside others

Visibility

People often don’t follow through on goals because they simply forget, or don’t plan their day accordingly

Accountability

People are more likely to follow through with goals if they know someone is watching

Habit communities

The habit community feature capitalizes on our central discovery around belonging. It acts as central social hub centered around a specific habit.

Challenges

Challenges foster a sense of belonging among habit-builders and enforce a system of accountability.

Best-of-market habit tracking

Camelot exists are the intersection of  community and habit-building, so we ensure the foundational habit capabilities are best of market.

Visuals driven by brand strategy and user feedback

The visual aesthetics are crafted to create an emotional response of uplifting, stimulating, and joyful. User feedback was overwhelmingly positive––many users used just these words to describe how they felt when using the prototype.

We crafted Camelot a design system for speed and visual consistency
